Providing emergency
food for people in
crisis.

LW Storehouse is a food bank feeding families & bringing hope throughout the Chorley Borough

Who We Are

LW Storehouse was started by Livingwaters Church and supported by Churches Together in Chorley. We became a registered charity in 2020, With more than twenty regular volunteers. We work closely with Chorley Council and other agencies within the town to deliver support across the borough, helping more than 2,000 families every year.

Our food parcels contain a variety of staple foods, hygiene items, bakery and fresh food collected from a local farmer.

We seek to provide hope, by providing opportunities to engage with other agencies for education, employment, training and wellbeing support. We offer free Maths and English Functional Skills courses at the foodbank on Friday and all resources are provided.

Get Help

LW Storehouse works on a referral basis through our local council or partner organisations. Please be sure to contact them directly to access this service, as food cannot be given without the referral.

To access our other services such as Functional Skills, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

If you already receive support from an agency, key worker or social worker, they can send the referral to us, otherwise, please contact Chorley Council.

You can contact the council on this button if you need help.
